Set the Table for Spring Tea

Why wait for an invitation to enjoy a cozy tea gathering with family and friends this spring when you can host your own event? With just a few easy touches, you can create an afternoon filled with smiles, good conversation, and, of course, tea. Inspired by the charming bunny cups Amy found at Target, she did just that. Here's how she set up a sweet and simple spring tea table, complete with a list of resources at the end. Spring-inspired Tea Party Tablescape_2

A Classic or Vintage-Inspired Tablecloth

She set the tone with a soft gingham tablecloth Amy found at Aldi (Hello Aldi!) in light blush and off-white. Any soft color would work, really. This gentle shade brings a cheerful vibe to your table, adding a splash of spring freshness and charm. The checkered pattern offers a timeless feel that fits right in without stealing the show. I've struggled to find something similar in the same soft blush, but we’ll suggest a few nice alternatives in the resources below.

Whimsical Centerpiece

For the centerpiece, Amy used items she already had at home for spring. She arranged a large platter with two moss bunnies in the middle to capture the playful spirit of spring and added a jar of tulips for a pop of color. To make it even more whimsical, she surrounded it with Spanish moss and speckled eggs. A couple of extra mason jars filled with tulips added more color and fun to the table. Charming Tableware

You can't resist the charm of scalloped pastel dessert plates; they add just the right amount of interest and color. Plus, who doesn't love the trendy scalloped design? Amy adored the playful bunny mugs from Target, which added a cute and festive vibe to the table. Layer your dinner plate with a sweet embroidered linen napkin, then top it with the scalloped dessert plate for an inviting setup. She placed everything on woven chargers and used her everyday plates. These crocheted chargers added the perfect touch of warmth in a subtle way. Spring-inspired Tea Party Tablescape

The Essential Element: Tea

No tea party is complete without tea. The best part? There are so many delicious teas to pick from, and their designs are as lovely as their flavors. We found an adorable tea set from Aldi, but there are plenty of great options out there. Choose a variety that suits your taste and captures the fun spirit of spring. Final Touches and Enjoyment
Gather friends and family for a memorable afternoon full of conversation and relaxation. Spring is meant to be savored, and sipping tea with good company is the perfect way to do it.
